Jan Reed, CPE
Something Nice Electrolysis

Having a nursing background and experience working in and managing a physician's medical practice, I had a strong foundation for establishing an electrology practice, Something Nice Inc. in 1974.  Since that time, I have been fortunate to be part of such a fulfilling career and to have received recognition for my contributions. With skilled staff and a reputation for quality results, we flourished with relationships and referrals that included medical and aesthetic practitioners as well as satisfied clients.

On a business level, I have been recognized in my community in organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce. On the professional electrology level, I co-founded and held numerous positions in our Minnesota Electrology Associations and was a National AEA board Delgate as well . Several professional magazines featured Something Nice and a Japanese Team studied my practice. I became a Nationally Accredited Speaker  and in the 1990's and 2000's lectured at numerous state seminars,as well as several national conventions.  I was also fortunate to do multiple lectures and demonstrations for the University of Minnesota Dermatology Department.

As I reorganize Something Nice and have a solo practice for the first time, the opportunities for our profession that this digital age provides will enable me to spend more time with my family.  Therefore I have decided not to accept any new client referrals. I still love what I do as well as the equipment that I use. I plan to maintain my certification and stay in the profession for many years to come.

Temporary removal measures may irritate, discolor and even damage the skin and adversely change the texture. Temporary removal methods usually need to be repeated indefinitely and may become costly over a period of time. Electrolysis is the safe and permanent solution for unwanted hair.
