Rates

Electrolysis compares favorably with other aesthetic services. The cost of each treatment is determined by the length of time spent in actual hair removal. Neither the total cost, nor the number of treatments can be accurately predetermined because of many variables: amount and type of hair, continual new hair growth, skin factors, client schedule and budget. Utilizing electrolysis, I can treat the hair but not the cause of its growth. Regular appointments are crucial to achieve optimum results. Working together, I can provide physical and psychological benefits - freedom from unwanted hair now and in the future, if new hair growth appears.

Payments

Payment is due at time of treatment. I accept cash and checks only.

Hair Growth and Treatment Factors

Individual factors can affect hair growth: heredity, glandular changes, medication, and even stress. Electrolysis will not stimulate new hair growth. Every hair follicle goes through a cycle of growth. I can only treat the hairs that are visible - not those in the resting stage or those not yet returned from tweezing, waxing or other temporary hair removal methods. On more coarse hairs, a breaking down process may be required to protect the surface of the skin from permanent damage. This involves a series of treatments over a period of time. In most cases, the skin actually improves after treatment and removal of the unwanted hairs.
